United Violet- UNITED and empowered women in fighting VIOlence through Learning, self-Expression and Training stems from the need to provide educators with innovative and interactive tools to combat violence against women by promoting students' self-expression and creativity. By improving the knowledge of educational staff on gender-based violence and its root causes, the project aims to empower women and transgender people, build resilience and combat gender discrimination.
The project seeks to address an urgent social problem: the spread of GBV (gender-based violence) and the urgent need for education and empowerment to combat it. By focusing on raising awareness, promoting self-expression and providing educators with the necessary skills, United Violet aspires to create safer and more inclusive communities.
In the course of the project, a Toolkit, Handbook and Electronic Platform will be developed, offering storytelling techniques, self-expression exercises and storytelling resources to create safe and supportive spaces for educational staff and students

Al centro di United Violet c’è la convinzione che l’istruzione possa guidare il cambiamento. Il progetto fornirà agli educatori risorse e formazione per affrontare la GBV, supportando al contempo le donne e le persone transgender nel trovare la propria voce e costruire resilienza.
Attraverso workshop locali e transnazionali, esercizi di autoespressione e strumenti digitali all’avanguardia, United Violet darà ai partecipanti gli strumenti per spezzare il ciclo di violenza e stigma.

United-Violet is an Erasmus+ initiative that aims to provide educators working with women and trans* people in vulnerable contexts with innovative tools to identify, prevent and combat gender-based violence.
We are currently working on a toolkit developed from the analysis of 140 questionnaires from the 7 European partner countries, which will address key issues such as sexist language and economic violence.
In the coming months, we will organise local training sessions to test the toolkit and refine it before launching it in the different project languages.
